Self Defence

Today at school first block the year 8 girls took a self defence class.The first thing we learnt was using our voices like yelling out for help is we are in trouble while someone bad is trying to get us.

We got into buddies and did a few moves on them but we did go hard that we would hurt them.
the skills we learnt were shin kick,ballerina kick,foot stomp and knee to the face.

It was really cool learning what to do in a emergency and hearing real stories on what have happened to girls while working home or being by themselves at the park.The thing we learnt was how to protect yourself.

John and I have worked on a project together for yr 3 and 4 kids about cyber safety.
